DESCRIPTION:A Retreat-Style Day Workshop\, facilitated by Rev. Cameron Gutj
ahar.\nAll are invited to the morning workshop.  Youth are invited for a
special afternoon session with Cameron\, same day\, from 1-3pm.\nWhy are s
cience and religion so often portrayed as being incompatible with one anot
her\, or even antagonistic? This is not the only way. At their best\, they
have much in common. Both can be disciplines that encourage curiosity\, w
onder and delight – spaces that are open for asking questions and explor
ing connection and relationship.\nIn the Spiritual Practice of Evolution &
amp\; Ecology we will have a contemplative opportunity to explore how evol
ution and ecology can enhance and deepen our spiritual lives in a Christia
n framework.\nCome learn about and delight in evolution and ecology\, pray
with phylogenetic trees\, meditate with microscopic organisms\, and refle
ct on the relationships that connect us to all living things\, and ultimat
 ely\, God.
