Val immigrated to Canada from England in 1980. Her background is as a Registered Nurse and then later as a realtor. She has lived in Cranbrook, Victoria and Naniamo before moving to Chilliwack. Val became an active and valued member of St. John’s in 2009. She has two grown daughters, both living in BC and a lovely little dog named ‘Tesla’ She was elected as People’s Warden in February 2020.
